Rising Gas Prices..

Well, it is year 2004 and the gas prices are up to 99.9cents a litre. This is a tad over priced I might say.
A year ago, my mother purchased a car that is supposedly very easy on gas. It would cost about 20 dollars to fill it with petro. Gas back then was about 76 cents a litre. Give or take a few cents. Now with the rising gas prices, it is about 35 dollars to fill the tank. It's soon gonna be quite impossible to own a vehicle. Insurance is unnesessarily expensive and combined with regular maintenance or unplanned repairs, its not economically right to own a car. In other words, its not worth it.

A lot of people think that this rise is gas prices is on purpose, maybe some kind of hidden government conspiracy. Like, they will rise the gas prices now, so we are acustom to these prices, and then come election time, the perks to vote for them will be that they will lower gas prices. Makes sense, right? I hate politics. I hate it mostly cause they can do these things and get away with it!

Oh well, maybe we should boycott right? Wrong! Theres no point in trying to boycott the goverment, or with multi million dollar companies, because they will always win. There will always be consumers that will purchase their products. The people who can afford to pay these insane gas prices. And if a significant amount of people stop buying gas, this will give them an opportunity to raise the price of gas more because they aren't pulling in enough profit.

This is the vicious circle of business.
